Go to the online application form (when it opens on February 1), complete the form, and press SUBMIT.

FEES:

Includes room, board, and tuition for all classes. Participants under 18 must be accompanied and supervised by an adult.

Renovated/New Cabin

General: $1395

Children (age 4-12): 1st child: $1265; 2nd + child (same family): $1130

Children (under 4): free

Canvas Tent Cabin (portable facilities)/Will Bring Tent/RV (no hookups, no generator)

All Ages (adults AND children over 4): $1095

DEPOSIT:

Please include a deposit of $100 for every person on your application aged 4 or over (list the names of those under age 4
on the application, though they attend camp free of charge). You may pay your deposit in one of two ways:

By Credit Card on our secure website form: If you enter your credit card info on the form, your card will be charged only for the deposit (plus any donation you choose to give). You will have an opportunity to authorize payment of your balance by credit card at a later date. We do not retain your credit card information.

By Check: Send a check to Valley of the Moon Scottish Fiddling School, C/O Connie Muir, 10140 Stable Ln, Nevada City, CA 95959. Your check must arrive within one week of your application’s submission, or the date of your application will be moved to the date your check arrives.

NOTE: Your deposit check may not be processed until May 15 but any credit card payment will be processed immediately upon submission.

DEADLINES AND CANCELLATION POLICY:

APRIL 1: Priority deadline for submitting applications.
APRIL 1: Deadline for submitting financial aid applications.
APRIL 15: Notification of acceptances sent.
MAY 1: Notification of financial aid awards sent.
MAY 15: Deposits processed; no refund of deposit after this date.
JULY 1: Final payment due. No refunds after this date unless we can fill your place(s) at camp; the deposit will remain non-refundable after May 15.

PRIORITY APPLICATION DEADLINE AND ACCEPTANCE NOTICES:

The Priority Application Deadline is April 1. If the number of applicants to camp exceeds the camp’s capacity, a random drawing (lottery) will be done of all those applications received by April 1st, and a wait-list will be created for those who are not accepted immediately. Up to 6 people may apply on the same application, and they will be accepted or wait-listed together as a group.

Primary applicant will be notified of acceptance by April 15. All communications regarding camp will be via email (unless you cannot be reached by that means), so be sure to set your email account so that any messages from vomreg@gmail.com will not be intercepted by spam filters.

Acceptance notices will be sent by April 15.

GUARDIANS AND MINORS:

Any applicant under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian designated by the parent. Minors who will have an unrelated guardian must go through the lottery with that guardian, and they should indicate the name of the guardian on the application form.
